Butter Pecan Syrup
This recipe is so insanely good, and better yet could not be any easier. You only need three ingredients! Pecans, butter and maple syrup, and you are ready to get started. I love the flavors of Autumn, and this recipe is perfect to top regular buttermilk pancakes or mind-blowingly fantastic on my Perfect Pumpkin Pancakes. If you are a butter pecan fan, you are in for a treat.
1/4 – 1/2 cup roughly chopped pecans
2 tablespoons butter
1 cup maple syrup
Place the pecans in a medium saucepan.
Toast on low heat 5-10 minutes until fragrant.
Add the butter to the pan, and melt it.
Once the butter is melted, pour in the maple syrup.
Cooking until the syrup is heated through.
Spoon over pancakes.
