Spinach and Artichoke Dip
I am a little embarrassed to admit this, but I am going to own up to the fact that my favorite part of most meals would have to be appetizers. Something about things in bite sized/ miniature, and delicious dips/spreads just really appeals to me.
1 (8 oz.) package of cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup sour cream
1/2 cup parmesan & romano grated cheese blend
1/2 cup mozzarella cheese
1 clove of garlic chopped
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 of (14oz.) can of drained artichoke hearts, chopped
1/2 cup frozen spinach thawed and drained
salt and pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 350° F. Grease pie plate or desired ovenproof dish.
Mix cream cheese, sour cream, 1/4 cup parm/romano blend, 1/4 cup mozzarella, garlic, basil, salt& pepper. Fold in artichokes and spinach.
Spread in prepared dish. Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
Bake 25 minutes. Or until bubbly and lightly browned.
